This itinerary takes you through two of Bali’s most breath taking sea temples, combining cultural heritage, stunning ocean views, and a mesmerizing sunset experience.

Begin your day with a visit to Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali’s most famous and photographed temples. Located in Beraban, Tabanan Regency, this majestic sea temple sits on a dramatic offshore rock formation, surrounded by crashing ocean waves. Learn about its deep-rooted Balinese mythology, which tells of the temple being built in the 16th century by the Hindu priest Dang Hyang Nirartha. Depending on the tide, you can walk across the sand to the base of the temple and receive a blessing from the holy water spring beneath it.

Enjoy a relaxing lunch at a restaurant overlooking rice terraces or with a view of the ocean.

Continue south to Uluwatu Temple (Pura Luhur Uluwatu), one of Bali’s six key spiritual temples, sitting atop a 70-meter-high limestone cliff. Walk along the cliffside pathways, offering panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Observe the resident monkeys roaming the area—some believe they guard the temple from evil spirits.

As the sun begins to set, take a seat at the Uluwatu Amphitheater for the legendary Kecak Fire Dance, which takes place around 6:00 PM. This dramatic Balinese performance tells the story of the Ramayana, with rhythmic chanting, fire displays, and a breath taking sunset as the backdrop. After the show, head to Jimbaran Bay, famous for its beachfront restaurants.
