Arrival: Touch down at Delhi International Airport. Our representative will assist you with your transfer to the hotel.
Delhi: is the capital city of India and is regarded as the heart of the nation. The city is popular for its enriched culture and heritage. The city hosts some famous historical monuments and is developing with the passing of time. The influence of religious diversity can be seen in the city along with the cultural impact of the Mughal, the ancient Indian and the British. There are many beautiful gardens in the city, away from pollution and busy city life that provide opportunities to walk leisurely in the midst of greenery. The capital city is divided into two sections popularly known as Purani Dilli or Old Delhi and Nayi Dilli or New Delhi. Old Delhi is popular for its ancient culture and monuments along with its overcrowded gastronomical lanes.

After breakfast, transfer to Delhi airport. Depart Delhi for Jaipur (by flight), which is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state.
Jaipur: Jaipur formerly Jeypore, is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded in AD 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan is popularly known as the Pink City. With broad avenues and spacious gardens, the city is steeped in history and culture. Here the past comes alive in magnificent forts and palaces, blushed pink, where once lived the maharajas. The bustling bazaars of Jaipur, famous for Rajasthan jewellery, fabric and shoes, possess a timeless quality and are a treasure-trove for the shoppers.
Arrive in Jaipur. Upon arrival, once you collect your baggage, please proceed to the arrival hall to meet our representative/driver. Transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast proceed for half-day excursion to Amber Fort & Palace with a local English-speaking guide.
Amber Fort & Palace: The Amber Palace (or Amber Fort or Amer Fort) is perhaps one of the most eye-catching palaces/forts in all of India. Cradled on the top of a hill near Jaipur, the huge Amer Palace Fort is located at a distance about 11 km from the main city. The town of Amer and the Amber Fort were originally built by Raja Man Singh and additions were, later, made by Sawai Jai Singh. It has been built with pale yellow and pink sandstone, and with white marble. Set amidst the hills and overlooking the Maota Lake, Amer Palace is the finest example of Indo-Islamic architecture. There are a lot of attractions for one to see at the Amer Fort, including the Diwan-E-Aam, Sukh Mahal, such mandir, and the Sheesh Mahal. Enjoy the elephant ride from the bottom of the hill, which takes you on a joyous ride up the hill towards Amber Fort. Visit the Paana Meena ka Kund and drive past Jal Mahal on our way back to Jaipur City.

After breakfast, depart Jaipur for Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri by surface (approx: 258 kms/7 hours).
Fatehpur Sikri: 37 kms from Agra is built a city predominantly in Red Sandstone and is called Fatehpur Sikri. This town was built by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. He had planned this city as his capital but shortage of water compelled him to abandon the city. After this within 20 years, the capital of Mughals was shifted to Lahore. Fatehpur Sikri was built during 1571 and 1585. Today this ghost city has a population of about 30,000. This deserted city has retained many of the old structures, because of the efforts of the Archaeological department. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. Fatehpur Sikri is the best example of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Fatehpur Sikri Mosque is said to be a copy of the mosque in Mecca and has designs, derived from the Persian & Hindu architecture.
Onwards proceed to Agra.
Agra: is an ancient city on the banks of the River Yamuna. It finds mention in the Mahabharata but gained importance as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1556 – 1658. It is on the Golden Triangle tourist circuit with Delhi and Jaipur. It is famous for its Mughal architecture and for being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal – a monument of incredible elegance and architectural perfection. Agra has many other famous archeological sites and is famous for its marble inlay work and its leather industry that manufactures shoe uppers for some of the best shoe companies in the world.

Agra city sightseeing includes visit to world famous Taj Mahal & Agra Fort.
Taj Mahal: One of the seven wonders of the world, Taj Mahal is located on the banks of River Yamuna in Agra. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial for his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. Constructed entirely out of white marble in the 17th century, Taj Mahal is one of the most beautiful monuments in the world. Covering an area of approximately 42 Acres, the construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631 and it took 17 years before it was completed in 1648!
Agra Fort: also called Red Fort, large 16th-century fortress of red sandstone located on the Yamuna River in the historic city of Agra. An architectural masterpiece, The Red Fort of Agra or Agra Fort was built by Emperor Akbar in 1573. It is located on the right bank of the River Yamuna and is made entirely of red sandstone. It is the perfect example of Mughal art and architecture, built purely out of red sandstone. Within the premises of Agra Fort lie the most exquisite structures like the Pearl Mosque, Diwan-i Khas, Diwan-i Aam, Sheesh Mahal, Moti Masjid and Jahangiri Mahal. View of Yamuna River and Taj Mahal from the fort’s pavilions is mind-stirring.

After breakfast, depart Agra for Orchha enroute visiting Gwalior (approx.: 255 kms/5 ½ hours).
Gwalior: is a city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It’s known for its palaces and temples, including the Sas Bahu Ka Mandir intricately carved Hindu temple. Ancient Gwalior Fort occupies a sandstone plateau overlooking the city and is accessed via a winding road lined with sacred Jain statues. Within the fort’s high walls is the 15th-century Gujari Mahal Palace, now an archaeological museum.
Onwards proceed to Orchha.
Orchha: The historic town of Orchha, nestled on the banks of river Betwa, was founded in the 16th century by the Bundela Rajput Chief, Rudra Pratap. Here, the river Betwa splits into seven channels, also called the Satdhara. Legend goes that this is in honour of the seven erstwhile Chiefs of Orchha. Thus, the town is steeped in history, which is quite evident from its palaces and temples built in the 16th and 17th centuries. The architectural splendor of the monuments in Orchha reflects the glory of its rulers. The ancient town seems frozen in time, with its many monuments continuing to retain their original grandeur even to this day.

Khajuraho: is an ancient city known for its magnificent temples and intricate sculptures. As per the historical archives, the Khajuraho temple site had 85 temples during the 12th century spread over 20 square kilometres. Among these, only 25 temples have survived the course of time, spread over six square kilometres. Built in the mediaeval century by the Chandela Dynasty, the UNESCO site of ‘Khajuraho Group of Monuments’ is famous for its Nagara-Style architecture and graceful sculptures of nayikas (Hindu Mythological female protagonists) and deities.

Sarnath: is a place located 10 kms northeast of Varanasi near the confluence of the Ganges and the Varuna rivers in Uttar Pradesh, India. The Deer Park in Sarnath is where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma, and where the Buddhist Sangha came into existence through the enlightenment of Kondanna.
